This riding area goes by several different names including monitor and merrimac trail, buttes and towers trail and determination towers. Moderate the route travels the colorado river canyon just below moab, follows a spectacular part of kane springs canyon, climbs the kane creek anticline to hurrah pass, and descends to benches above the colorado river. If you’re not an experienced rider and would like to experience the slick rock, there are rzr tours and hummer tours you can do. Once you get to the top, enjoy the view and take a deep breath—you’ve conquered one of the toughest utv trails in moab.
